My name is Harry Bees and I'm going into my third year at the University of Sheffield. I'm taking Management and Japanese, which to be honest, was the best choice I've ever made. I've made some amazing friends and had an awsome time. This coming academic year though, I'll be doing a sandwhich year at Doshisha University, Kyoto, as part of my degree. WOOOOOOOP!

I'm writing this blog as a diary I guess, and also so other people can see what I've been up to during my year abroad half way across the world. I've just ordered a new camcorder from le internet, which I'm far too excited about, to hopefully make lots of random videos of my adventures. It has to be said I'm quite excited. Okay not quite, very. But at the same time I'm so nervous! I'm going to miss so many people. Mainly my boyfriend and dog....Nah just kidding. It'll be weird being away from all my friends and family for so long. Thankfully though I'm heading to the same University as some of my close friends. Yay!
Well, here is my plan so far...
On September 9th (30 days!!!) I'll be heading to Heathrow airport, meeting my matey Ben and catching a flight to Osaka, Japan (via Frankfurt for some reason -.-). After the 15 hours travelling time, I'll be getting a train to Kyoto train station (below) and, with a little bit of luck, finding Doshisha University's international halls of residence!
I've got sooooo much to do at the moment in preperation. My mum keeps nagging me to get stuff sorted but I still have a list of things to do as long my arm :@
On that note, I'll leave my first post here methinks. Catch up soon! :)
